Plate heat exchanger is a high efficiency heat exchanger formed by stacking a series of corrugated metal plates. The structure of the plate heat exchanger mainly includes plates, gaskets, compression plates (movable plates, fixed plates) and frames (upper guide rod, lower guide rod, front pillar).

Schematic diagram of plate heat exchanger

The plates are sealed by gaskets. Two fluid channels, cold and hot, are separated, and the cold and hot heat exchange media flow through the respective channels and exchange heat with the separated plates to achieve the desired temperature.

There are openings in the four corners of the plate, which are assembled together to form a plate bundle to form a fluid to obtain a distribution pipe and a collection pipe. After the heat of the cold / heat medium is exchanged, it is returned from the respective collection pipe and recycled.

The plate heat exchanger is mainly a partition wall heat transfer. The main feature of the partition wall heat exchanger is cold. The two hot fluids are separated by a layer of solid wall surface such as a plate. The two cannot be mixed. The heat exchange is performed through the partition wall.

The single-flow structure of the plate heat exchanger is that only two plates do not transfer heat, the first plate and the tail plate. Double process structure: each process has 2 plates without heat transfer.
