As the fouling layer's thermal conductivity is very low, the heat transfer resistance is greatly increased, and the heat transfer efficiency of plate heat exchanger is reduced to a certain extent. When a scaling layer is formed on the surface of the plate heat exchanger, the flow area of the equipment will be reduced, the resistance of the fluid flowing through the equipment will be increased, and unnecessary cost will be incurred.
